Any sort of snowfall in the West Midlands during the 21st century is something of a rarity, typically a once or maybe twice-yearly
event, and usually occurring in January or later. A November snowfall that settles on the ground is especially unusual, but it did
happen on Tuesday 19th November 2024. The following day tram 30 is seen heading south at Wednesbury Parkway, with the autumnal leaves
giving away the season. Despite the trivial amount of snow that fell, less than an inch hereabouts, the platform
indicators were still warning of delays due to adverse weather.
