60044 heads through Aldridge with the 6H64 Walsall - Dowlow empty stone. This shot was taken at 12:16 on Saturday 18th April 2015, with the
train running almost exactly to time. Stone trains started to run to Walsall in early November 2014. They share the sidings with the cement
train, the stone using the yard in the morning and the cement in the afternoon. The stone uses similar paths to the cement when it ran
from Tunstead (rather than Earles as it does now), and hence normally shares the same headcodes, 6M09 and 6M82. Quite why the empties ran
as 6H64 on this occasion I know not, but the loaded train was 6M09 as usual.
