50049 made a round trip from Kidderminster to Butterley and Barrow Hill on Monday 7th May 2018. Its mission was to collect 45041 and 55019 for use on the diesel gala circuit. This is 0Z51 Barrow Hill - Kidderminster crossing the River Tame just south of Tame Bridge at 16:15. It's about to pass underneath the southern apex of the Ray Hall Interchange, where the northern end of the M5 joins the M6. The lower deck carries both carriageways forming the connection between the M5 and the northbound M6 at Bescot. The higher deck carries the single carriageway from the M5 to the southbound M6 at Great Barr.
