55003 stands in the shed yard at York on Saturday 7th April 1979. I no longer had details for this shot, but have been able to
identify the date from an almost identical photo taken by someone else. It's a fair bet that lots of people took a similar photo
because this was the first of Finsbury Park's Deltics to receive white window surrounds on its blue livery in 1979. They'd
been applied the previous day, in time for Meld to work the Kings Cross - York and return legs of the "Northumbrian" railtour
on the 7th. Hence the pristine buffers, and the revised livery drawing the attention of the cameras.
