47316 and 47714 approach Ryecroft with a 1Z71 06:58 Crewe - Kingswear charter. This was a Heartland (Cotswold) Rail charter, and was
photographed at 08:53 on Saturday 14th May 2005. Signal WL55 dates from June 1967 but the feather was long redundant when this photo was
taken. It signified a route onto the up fast at Ryecroft Jct, and was only needed when there were still four tracks from there to Walsall
station. When Walsall power box was abolished in August 2013 this signal became RR4368.
