33209 arrives at Birmingham International with 1M23 Poole - Manchester Piccadilly. The original loco
had failed somewhere on the Southern Region, and the train was running 65 minutes late when photographed
at 20:00 on Monday 11th July 1988. 209 only had a few months left, it was withdrawn after a shunting
accident damaged the corner of one its cabs during the following autumn.
