31324 is the Saltley banking engine, assisting a steel train up the Camp Hill line at Bordesley Jct. I believe this was taken on
Tuesday 30th May 1989 when I'd visited Bordesley to photograph 97561 heading the Midland Counties Railway anniversary railtour
from Derby - Bristol. That date falls within the period covered by a lost notebook, which is consistent with my inability to locate
the original notes for this shot.
