08865 shunts the ballast sidings at Bescot on the afternoon of Wednesday 19th September 2012. Hidden just a few yards behind
that tree line is an eight-lane motorway, on an embankment. Most of the riverside trees were subsequently cut back by the
Environment Agency, opening out the view again. The vegetation on the railway in the foreground was also cut back; it subsequently
grew back, albeit not to the extent seen here.
