08460 stands at Harwich Town in this photo, taken in the early 1980s. Car traffic was the main job here as I recall, as evidenced
by the cartics in the background. Another two or three of Colchester's Class 08s could be found at Parkeston Quay yard, and were
usually visible from the running lines, making a trip up the branch from Manningtree a worthwhile excursion.
