Heljan Class 27
This is a Heljan Class 27 acquired new from Hereford Model Centre. It's the 2006 tooling, with an 8-pin DCC socket and lighting. Originally numbered 5373 this number has been retained as there are relatively few in the no-boiler range, and no need to change a pre-TOPS identity in any case.

As with the Bachmann Class 24 this needed one of the two tail lamps to be blanked out at each end. Also this loco doesn't have switchable tail lamps, so as delivered these can't be switched off when hauling a train. The tail lamp wiring has to be modified to make this possible.
