Hornby Class 08
This is a Hornby Class 08, acquired from eBay. It's the 2005 tooling, with an 8-pin socket. It was near enough new-in-box when purchased. Originally numbered 08489 it's been renumbered to 3571 and fairly heavily weathered. It's pictured here with a Bachmann brake van.

The Hornby TTS sound is pretty good in my view, but doesn't provide as much volume as I'd like, despite fitting an aftermarket speaker.
