Bachmann Class 03
This is a Bachmann Class 03 acquired from eBay. It's the 2010 tooling, with a 6-pin DCC socket, and was apparently unused when purchased. Originally numbered 03066 it's been renumbered to 2078, another of the dual-braked variants, and very lightly weathered. The runner is a Bachmann Conflat, one of a pack of two purchased at a toy fair. It's had wasp stripes added to the ends.

The Digitrains sound file is quite good, and reasonably loud through an 8 ohm speaker. However the 9mm deep speaker needed to be filed down a bit to make it fit between the motor casing and the radiator grill.
