The Midland Metro viewed from the zoo side of the Tipton Road, where the line curves sharply to head up towards Castle Hill. On
this curve is a level crossing forming the vehicular entrance to the Very Light Rail Innovation Centre. Work was underway
here when this shot was taken on Wednesday 18th March 2026. Just visible on the left is the tram stop for the zoo and castle,
with their car park behind. There's no OLE on the stretch through Dudley town centre between the Tipton Road and Flood St
stops.
