The new Metro stop at Dudley Port, as seen on Wednesday 18th March 2026. Now substantially complete, and with hardly
any construction vehicles in the compound to the left. This compound was the car park for Dudley Port station, and will
revert to that function once the tram works are complete. What's missing is a staircase from the tram stop up the grass
embankment in the lower right of the frame. This would provide a direct and quicker interchange between trains and trams
than the convoluted route out onto Park Lane East which entails starting off in the wrong direction and doubling back.
