08738 was delivered to Bescot on Thursday 19th March 2026. In this shot the lorry is just coming off Sandy Lane
bridge where the road crosses the railway line at the south end of Bescot yard. A long time ago this single
lane bridge was the main road between West Bromwich and Walsall, but nowadays its primary function is an access road
into the upside at Bescot. The bridge is controlled by vehicle detection traffic lights. There's a significant climb,
and also a kink in the road, at both ends of the bridge. This makes it especially tricky for large vehicles
to negotiate. In this shot the lorry is coming off the bridge and heading down the slope towards the yard entrance.
