46100 at Tame Bridge
46100 "Royal Scot" leads its support coach and 47593 into Tame Bridge at 12:54 on Tuesday 26th November 2019. It was slowing on the approach to Bescot UDG Loop where it was booked to stop for 20 minutes. Note that some of the long-obsolete reversing signals on the up main are still extant. These are mounted on the short black posts, and were used to indicate that the train was permitted to reverse into the downside, in the days before it was possible to run straight into the downside from the Wolverhampton direction.
